Minibridge is a whist based card game, which was designed to help teach the fundamentals of Bridge. The game itself changed slightly by removing the slam option and this simplification has been part of the reason the minibridge has not happened very often at the Mind Sports Olympiad. Having removed the complications about the bidding it helps teach some of the aids to bridge such as high card points and it still uses some of the same scoring concepts.
