Intelligence (IQ)

Categories:  Decamentathlon Number Games Puzzle Games Traditional Games Word Games

Intelligence or IQ is a well known competition, many attempts have been made to try and measure the brain power of an individual. At the MSO an attempt is made to set questions that will be challenging and new to the competitors, although, sometimes it can come down to pure speed of calculation with the skill of some of our athletes.

Rules

Intelligence is a test set in English although many of the problems will be spatial. Most of the qusetions will be multiple choice questions. All the papers will be timed (apart from in the decamentathlon) which will then be used as a tie-break. Often the question will be ambiguous and it is only from the answers that an exact solution can be found

You can find out about opportunities to play Intelligence live at the timetable. Please report any external links that have broken or have changed to contain inappropriate material. More information about how tournament play works can be found in clocks and in MSO rules.
